Introduced in India, Rethink+ is a unique plastics take-back program that aims to prevent post-consumer plastic waste from going to landfills by digitally connecting waste generators, waste aggregators, waste processors and recyclers.

AENOR Certification

AENOR certification indicates that all three of the REVOLOOP™ Recycled Plastics Resins offered in EMEA contain post-consumer recycled plastic. Dow is the first company to obtain this certification, accredited by ENAC, for plastic compounds with post-consumer recycled (PCR) material. REVOLOOP™ 30-LL E at 30% PCR, and REVOLOOP™ 70-LL E and REVOLOOP™ 70-LD E both at 70% PCR. This certification demonstrates our commitment to offering recycled plastics resins that benefit our customers and help advance their sustainability targets in alignment with legislation.

Dow and Valoregen collaborate on hybrid recycling site

Dow announced an agreement with French recycling company Valoregen to contribute to building the largest single hybrid recycling site in Damazan, France, to be owned and operated by Valoregen.

Dow’s partners to create recycled shrink films

Dow announced the first large-scale commercial use of its innovative resin AGILITY™ CE, made with 70% recycled plastic. Plastigaur, a leading film converter based in Spain, is using the AGILITY™ CE resin in its collation shrink film.

Dow is working closely with in-country partners across the region to offer reliable, high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic resins. REVOLOOP™ Recycled Plastics Resins can be incorporated into different applications that seek to include recycled content, while maintaining processability and supporting quality and performance.

The materials ecosystems in Latin America

Dow has developed a model in for triple impact: helping to close the plastics waste loop, encouraging inclusive recycling, and helping brand owners achieve their sustainability goals. This is possible through collaboration with local organizations in waste collection and management, such as Recycling for a Change in Brazil.

Recycled material bought from waste cooperatives and recycling companies is used to produce REVOLOOP™ Recycled Plastics Resins. The partnerships also help strengthen and formalize the work of waste pickers.

Dow and Avangard innovative advance plastic circularity

In an exclusive agreement, Houston-based waste-optimization specialist Avangard Innovative LP will supply post-consumer resin (PCR) plastic film pellets to Dow, a significant addition to Dow's plastic circularity portfolio that is aligned with the company's goal to advance the circular economy for plastics and minimize waste in the environment.
