To enhance all-purpose alkaline bathroom cleaners, Dow offers a broad range of solutions that include DOWANOL™ Solvents, alkaline agents such as Monoethanolamine, and Isopropanolamine, chelating agents  VERSENE™ 100 Chelating Agent, ACUSOL™ 445 Dispersant Polymer, ECOSURF™ EH-9 and TERGITOL™ 15-S-9 Surfactants, SupraCare™ 780 Additive as a cleaning booster for quat containing formulations and CELLOSIZE™ HEC QP-100MH Rheology Modifier.  

To enhance performance of acidic cleaners, Dow offers VERSENE™ Acid Chelating Agent, ACUSOL™ 445 Dispersant Polymer, ECOSURF™ EH-9 and TERGITOL™ 15-S-9 surfactants to dissolve scales – as well as ACUSOL™ 880 Rheology Modifier and CELLOSIZE™ HEC QP-100MH to improve product texture. 

To eliminate mold and/or mildew on bathroom surfaces, sodium hypochlorite cleaning products are largely used. Dow surfactant such as DOWFAX™ C6L Surfactant provide excellent stability, greater penetrating power and longer shelf life for bleach-based cleaners. Also, ACUSOL™ 445 Polymer is a bleach-resistant dispersant polymer that helps eliminate mold.

Dow offers a variety of glycol ether solvents such as DOWANOL™ PM, DOWANOL™ PnB Glycol Ether to reduce the surface tension of water and provide efficient surface wetting and cleaning properties while enabling formulation optimization.

Dow offers nonionic surfactants such as TRITON™ CG-50 Surfactant to improve the coupling of hydrophobic solvents in cleaning formulations and enhance cleaning while still delivering excellent no streaking performance. In addition, Diisopropanolamine can be used to adjust pH without filming or streaking issues.

Dow offers window and glass cleaner formulations with chelating agents such as VERSENE™ EDTA Chelating Agent to control hard water ions and improve product compatibility and stability.

To enable excellent cleaning performance for multiple surfaces and compatibility in concentrated and dilutable multipurpose cleaners with their low odor, water solubility and low surface tension, Dow offers glycol ether solvents such as DOWANOL™ PM Glycol Ether , DOWANOL™ PnB Glycol Ether and Butyl CARBITOL™ Solvent.

To provide excellent wetting, degreasing and detergency for multiple surfaces while preventing filming and streaking, Dow offers surfactants such as ECOSURF™ EH-6, ECOSURF™ EH-9 and TERGITOL™ 15-S-9  that work synergistically with glycol ether solvents in multipurpose and concentrated cleaning formulations.

To control hard water ions and improve product compatibility and stability for window and glass cleaner formulations, Dow offers VERSENE™ EDTA Chelating Agent.

To control pH, neutralize fatty acids and deliver buffering properties without filming or streaking, Dow offers amines such as Monoethanolamine, Monoisopropanolamine and Diisopropanolamine.

To improve cleaning and detergency in multipurpose cleaners, Dow offers versatile ingredients such as ACUSOL™ PRO Polymer for easier next-time cleaning and superior performance on multiple surfaces.

Dow offers chelating agents such as VERSENE™ EDTA Chelating Agent help control divalent cations to remove tough stains like soap scum and hard water stains – while keeping surfactants more soluble in the wipe impregnating liquid for continued, effective cleaning performance. 

Dow offers versatile polymers such as ACUSOL™ PRO Polymer that act as dispersants, inhibiting scale and soil redeposition for effective next-time cleaning without residue.
